The ‘Youte Festival’ shoe fair returns to Caravaca de la Cruz from June 1 to 3. Eleven firms from the area will participate in it, which will put their latest collections on sale in the monumental courtyard of the Jesuits.
In the presentation, he also highlighted the existing collaboration between the Caravaca City Council and the companies that make up Calzia, “not only through the organization of training courses or events such as the Jute Festival, but also working on other projects such as ‘Las Pilgrims of Caravaca’, which will go on sale this coming Jubilee Year 2024′.
The Festival of the Arts of Jute, Youte Festival, was born as a formula to give more visibility to footwear and specifically espadrilles and creations of Calzia firms in the international context and complement the international promotion that companies carry out with the help of the Government of the Region of Murcia, through the INFO Region of Murcia.
The 7th edition will have a pop-up space (ephemeral shops) in the monumental setting of the Patio de los Jesuitas in Caravaca de la Cruz. In addition, another twenty brands will participate in the virtual version of the fair, which arose in the pandemic and has established itself as an international marketing and promotion channel with confirmed meetings that will take place with potential clients from Argentina, Dubai or France. .

The seventh edition of this event has been presented with the designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada as ‘Ambassador of Jute 2023’.
José Francisco García highlighted “that local companies create ‘Marca Caravaca’ all over the world, thanks to their commitment to fashion, craftsmanship and quality built on a tradition of espadrilles of more than five hundred years”.
The fair will have the participation of the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain (ACME), with the visit of designers interested in learning about the artisanal and sustainable values of the Caravaca industry.
